A possible explanation: Afterlife memories, Imagination and Déjà vu

Ever wondered why you dream about something you have never seen in your life?

Why do some people claim to have afterlife memories even in hypnotic state?

How the people drew similar looking dragons in three different locations of the world 20,000 years ago?

I might have an answer on that!

I am going to take you through a series of information to make sure that your basics are clear even if you were not good at science in your school.

My theory starts with a study done by a group of scientists who have dissected the head of Planarian Flatworm. This worm has the ability to reproduce asexually.
[That means if you cut it, it will regrow its body from the head and another head from the body resulting into 2 flatworms which is worse for those who have Vermiphobia (fear of worms).] 😛

This study found out that the body which regrew its own head has somehow retained the memory and the knowledge of the old one. The original ones were familiarized with an environment, learning to tolerate light and open spaces which usually they instinctively avoid. Amazingly, these learned characteristics were passed down to the replicated worms. This seems to suggest that some level of memory and knowledge storage occurs within DNA.

Since worms have limited understanding and need of knowledge, their DNA has passed the information the new brain needs which is enough for them to survive. Same applies on animals but as humans, we have evolved brain. This process took place in thousands of years and we have been passing on our DNA ever since. Let me give you a quick refresher on how DNA works before we move forward.

DNA:

Your DNA decides the way you, your eyes, hair, body etc. look. It lets your body know how to perform certain action like breathing, pumping blood or chemicals in your brain according to which you grow your height, muscles and bones. It does numerous of other works too which I cannot mention on this blog but this was enough to give you a gist of it. Any mutation in your DNA can result in numerous diseases or effects that a normal person cannot sustain (still you may not become an X-men, unfortunately).

Now, let’s come to how your DNA was transferred to you. When you were ‘created’, a process of natural selection took place. As a species, we try not to die at least before we mate, so, the natural selection tries to take the best from your parents DNA and mix it all up to make your DNA. Your parents have their parents’ DNA but sometimes some information is skipped for one or a few generations that can result in your eyes being more similar to your grandparent than your parents. I hope everyone is onboard now.

Humans have complex brain. Our brain is not limited to eat, sleep and mate. We have love, fear, anxiety, anger, jealousy, greed and all other emotions that have helped us to make our society. Dogs do not wonder about what the other dog would be doing across the globe at this point of time (I hope not, it’s good for human ego). We have a great reliable memory and a bigger brain which is not limited to be afraid of fire but to use it to provide ourselves heat.

We say that the subconscious part of the brain helps us in being creative, make us dream when we sleep and has mysterious memories which have not taken place in our current life yet. Some people say that it is your previous life’s memories which cannot be true because humans make sure that they destroy a dead human’s body and that brain burns or get buried with that body unless it is smashed on the floor. So, where does this memory come from. Your soul cannot be the answer because we have not seen the soul yet. Can it be in your DNA? Let’s see……..

By far, we know that DNA can store information and our brain has a major segment that we don’t know how it works. There is a possibility that your subconscious brain has segments of memories from your parents, their parents, and so on… Little information that is all merged up in sequences and your other part of the brain that tries to make sense out of it, seeing it as a single picture at a time.

Let me again fall back to DNA to support my argument. We know that the human genome is made of 3.2 billion bases of DNA and some of this can have little flashes of memory derived from each of your ancestor and our silly brain is showing it as a projector trying to play a reel in our head when we sleep or experience Deja Vu. You can refer to the image below to understand better:

It is an 8 letter series and I wonder what will it be if we store more information on our DNA than we think.

Brian Weiss: A girl who lived 86 lives.

Writer of Many Lives Many Masters, Brian Weiss is an American psychiatrist, hypnotherapist, and author who specializes in past life regression. In this book, he told about a true story of a girl under hypnotic stage, who was able identify her 86 past lives that she has lived, during multiple sessions taken by him. I imply that her subconscious mind might have shown her the images she collected from her family and the current life and this mix has resulted in such a long and great story.

Dragons?

If you track down the origins of dragon in the human history, there are no specimen of living dragon found but weirdly enough, there were 3 places where humans have drawn, worshiped, feared and talked about dragons which were way away from each other and there is no chance of any contact being made between these groups.

How did they collectively think of dragons then? Let’s see….

Dragons, as we know, have snakes like structure, big body/wings and ability to spit fire (like our new age rappers). What if they did not exist but people actually got the flashes of a memory as mentioned before which has compiled the information of what the human feared the most in the early age i.e. snake, a big bird and fire. Since we know how much our brain tries to makes sense out of something and show a face in any object as long as it has almost 2 eyes and a mouth {for eg :)}, it can be said that our brain rendered an image of snake, fire and a big bird together and made up a fire breathing-scaly dragon.

Deja vu?

Scientists have already said that Deja vu is our brain’s failed attempt to relate the present to an event which already took place in the past. Many of us did not really understand what they are meaning to tell or did not agree to it as they have other beliefs.
What is Deja vu though? For me, it is not the event that has already occurred and taking place again, the place and people that you see at that moment may have never been there before but it is actually a call back to similar experience.
Some of us might have experienced deja vu while jumping off a place, you never know, and may say that they have not had experienced it before in their life, so, how can I say its a call back to similar experience? Well, flashbacks, DNA, are you guys focusing?

If you have some other examples to share with me, please do. I would love to know how did you feel about my theory and if you have anything to say in regard to this.
